OUR ACTIVITIES

Regularly conducted daily Managalarati, Worship and Evening Arati. Besides we also conducted Ramanam Sankirtan on Ekadasi Days. Celebrated Sri Shankara Jayanti; Sri Buddha Purnima; Sri Sri Pahalaharini Kali Puja; Sri Guru Purnima; Sri Vinayaka Chathurthi; Sri Krishna Jayanti; Sri Sri Durga Puja; Sri Sri Lakshmi Puja; Sri Sri Kali Puja; Christmas Eve; Kalpataru Day; Maha Shivaratir; Sri Krishna Chaitanya Jayanti; Sri Rama Navami. Conducted Birthdays of Holy Trinity (Birthdays of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi; Swami Vivekananda; and Sri Ramakrishna) and also birthdays of Direct Disciples of Sri Ramakrishna.

Classes in Tamil was conducted on every Sunday evening. Monthly half-day retreat conducted on third Sunday of every Month.

Free Tuition Centre which was started in 1997 for IV to XII standard is continued. The present strength in the project is 134 children (70 boys and 64 girls). Besides giving free uniforms; educational materials such as Note Books, pens, etc. also distributed. Sumptuous nutritious food along with Milk was served daily to all the children after they come from Schools. We also distributed new cloths, fire crackers and sweets on the occasion of Deepavali. Woolen clothing were given to them during the winter.

Gadadhara Abhyudaya Prakalpa launched in November, 2011 on the occasion of Swamiji’s 150 year celebration is continued. The existing Tuition centre has been expanded to suit the project. Children are given toiletries (tooth paste, tooth brush, tongue cleaners, nail cutters, soap, coconut oil etc.) monthly, apart from uniforms and winter garments. Sumptuous nutritious food along with Milk was served daily to all the children. Weekly twice fruits and once dry fruits were distributed.
